Iran’s Non-Oil Trade near $6 b in the first month of the year 1400
The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) showes that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first month of the Iranian year 1400 (Mar.21- April 20) has reached $5.762 billion, that is 63% more than in the first month of the year 1399.
The volume of exports of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports of luggage trade) in the first month valued at $2.968 billion (+81%). China ($974 million), Iraq ($428 million), the United Arab Emirates ($417 million), Turkey ($177 million) and Afghanistan ($ 175 million) were Iran’s five major export destinations, which accounted for 73% in total.
Iran imported goods valued at $2.794 billion (+47%) in the first month of Iranian year. Accordingly, the United Arab Emirates ($ 788 million), China ($ 656 million), Turkey ($ 247 million), India ($ 133 million) and Russia ($ 132 million) together exported $1.956 billion (70%) worth of products to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the same period.
