The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) show­es that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first month of the Iranian year 1400 (Mar.21- April 20) has reached $5.762 bil­lion, that is 63% more than in the first month of the year 1399.

The volume of exports of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also with­out considering exports of luggage trade) in the first month val­­­ued at $2.968 billion (+81%). Chi­na ($974 mil­li­on), Iraq ($428 million), the United Arab Emi­rates ($417 mil­li­on), Tur­key ($177 mil­­li­­on) and Afgha­nistan ($ 175 mil­li­on) were Iran’s five ma­jor ex­port destina­tions, which ac­coun­t­ed for 73% in total. 

Iran imported goods valued at $2.794 billion (+47%) in the first month of  Ira­nian year. Accor­ding­ly, the Uni­­ted Arab Emirates ($ 788 mil­lion), China ($ 656 million), Tur­key ($ 247 million), In­dia ($ 133 million) and Russia ($ 132 million) together ex­ported  $1.956 billion (70%)  worth of products to the Isla­mic Republic of Iran in the same period.
