Iran’s Non-Oil Trade at $29 b in the first Four Month of the year 1400

The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) shows that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first four month of the Iranian year 1400 (Mar.21- Juli 21) has reached $28.914 billion, that is 47% more than in the first four month of the year 1399.

The volume of exports of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports of luggage trade) in the first four month valued at $14.338 billion (+65%). China ($4,396 million), Iraq ($2,817 million), the United Arab Emirates ($1,627 million), Turkey ($923 million) and Afghanistan ($ 728 million) were Iran’s five major export destinations, which accounted for 73% in total.

Iran imported goods valued at $14.576 billion (+33%) in the first four month of the Iranian year 1400. Accordingly, the United Arab Emirates ($ 4,680 million), China ($ 3,133 million), Turkey ($ 1,513 million), Germany ($ 563 million) and Switzerland ($ 539 million) together exported $10.428 billion (72%) worth of products to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the same period.

MNA: The spokesman for National Task Force for Fighting Covid-19 said Saturday that from tomorrow until August 27 the there will be a travel ban in place between provinces. The spokesman for Iran's National Task Force for Fighting Covid-19 Alireza Raeisi said on Saturday that from tomorrow, Sunday (August 15) at 12 o'clock, there will be a ban on travelling between provinces in place until Saturday, August 27.

Raeisi said that the Law Enforcement and the judicial officials will make sure that the restrictions are respected throughout the country. The restrictions include fines for drivers who violate the rules. The spokesman said that all the government bodies will be off work or will be working from home from Monday, August 16 until Saturday, August 21.

Iran-EU Trade in Jan. - June 2021 more than 2.2 Billion Euro

EU27-Iran Foreign from January till June 2021 generated 2,247 million Euro.

The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 1,840 million Euro (-3%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 407 million (+17%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 894 million Euro, followed by Italy (303 million Euro) and the Netherlands (233 million Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in January till June 2021 stood at 1,840 million Euro, a decrease of 3% compared to January-June 2020. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 41% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth € 754 million, that was 6% less than in the first six month of 2020. Second (12%) was Italy with exports worth € 219 million (-20%), followed by the Netherlands (€ 217 million, +17%).

January till June 2021 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 407 million from Iran (+17%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (34%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 140 million from Iran (+6%), followed by Italy (€ 84 million, +63%) and Spain (€41 million, +26%).
