Iran-EU27 Trade from January till November 2020 more than 4 Billion Euro
EU27-Iran Foreign Trade from January till November 2020 generated 4,022 million Euro.
The 27 EU countries (without the United Kingdom) exported goods worth € 3,364 million Euro to Iran and imported goods worth € 658 million. Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 1,612 million Euro, followed by Italy (609 million Euro) and the Netherlands (442 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the first eleven month of the year 2020 stood at 3.364 million Euro, a decrease of 15% compared to the first eleven month of the year 2019. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 41% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth € 1.369 million, that was 2% more than from January till November 2019. Second (15%) was Italy with exports worth € 513 million (-31%), followed by the Netherlands (€ 330 million, -25%).
From January till November 2020 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 658 million from Iran (+5%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (37%) go to Germany, which imported goods worth 243 million from Iran (+37%), followed by the Netherlands (€ 112 million, +288%) and Italy (€96 million, -33%).
