EU27-Iran Foreign Trade from January till March 2021 generated 1,089 million Euro.
The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 891 million Euro (-4%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 198 million (-12%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 436 million Euro, followed by Italy (148 million Euro) and the Netherlands (131 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in January till March 2021 stood at 891 million Euro, a decrease of 4% compared to January-March 2020. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 41% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth € 365 million, that was 12% less than in the first Quarter of 2020. Second (14%) were the Netherlands with exports worth € 122 million (+51%), followed by Italy (€ 101 million, -25%).
January till March 2021 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 198 million from Iran (-12%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (36%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 71 million from Iran (+6%), followed by Italy (€ 47 million, +6%) and Spain (€19 million, -16%).
