EU27-Iran Foreign Trade from January till March 2021 generated 1,089 mil­li­on Euro.

The 27 EU coun­­­tries exported goods worth € 891 million Euro (-4%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 198 million (-12%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade vol­ume of 436 million Euro, fol­lowed by Italy (148 million Euro) and the Ne­ther­lands (131 mil­lion Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in January till March 2021 stood at 891 mill­i­on Euro, a de­crea­se of 4% com­­pared to January-March 2020. Ac­cor­ding to the la­test da­ta by Euro­stat, the sta­tis­tical of­fice of the European Union, 41% of the EU ex­­ports to Iran ca­me from Ger­­­many that de­­­li­ve­red goods worth € 365 million, that was 12% less than in the first Quarter of 2020. Second (14%) were the Netherlands with ex­ports worth € 122 mil­­li­on (+51%), fol­lowed by Italy (€ 101 million, -25%).

January till March 2021 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 198 million from Iran (-12%).  Most of the Iranian ex­ports to the Eu­­ro­pean Union (36%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 71 mil­­lion from Iran (+6%), fol­­lowed by Italy  (€ 47 million, +6%)  and Spain (€19 million,  -16%).
