Iran-EU Trade in January 2025 at 353 Million Euro
Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first month of the year 2024 generated 353 million Euro (-7%). The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 292 million Euro (-6%) to Iran and imported goods worth 61 million Euro (+4%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 109 million Euro, followed by the Netherlands (55 million Euro) and Italy (45 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in January 2025 stood at 292 million Euro, that is 6% less compared to January 2024. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 31% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 91 million Euro, that was 10% less than in January 2024. Second (17%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 50 million Euro (+38%) followed by Italy (38 million Euro, -13%), Romania (29 million Euro, 3%), Belgium (22 million Euro, -4%) and France (21 million Euro, +29%).
In the first month of the year 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 61 million Euro from Iran (-11%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (29%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 18 million Euro from Iran (-10%) followed by Spain (12 million Euro, +66%) and Italy (7 million Euro, -46%).
