Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first seven month of the year 2025 generated 2,181 million Euro (-22%). The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 1,712 million Euro (-25%) to Iran and imported goods worth 469 million Euro (-7%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 717 million Euro, followed by the Netherlands (337 million Euro) and Italy (325 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to June of the year 2025 stood at 1,712 million Euro, that is 25% less compared to the first seven month of the year 2024. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 34% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 586 million Euro, that was 23% less than in the first seven month of year 2024. Second (17%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 297 million Euro (-11%), followed by Italy (239 million Euro,
-25%) and France (123 million Euro, -17%).
From January to July 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 469 million Euro from Iran (-7%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (28%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 131 million Euro from Iran (0%) followed by Italy with (86 million Euro, -27%) and Spain (64 million Euro, +28%).
