Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first seven month of the year 2025 generated 2,181 million Euro (-22%). The 27 EU coun­tries ex­por­ted goods worth € 1,712 million Euro (-25%) to Iran and impor­ted goods worth 469 mil­lion Euro (-7%). Ger­­many was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 717 mil­lion Euro, followed by the Ne­therlands (337 mil­li­on Euro) and Italy (325 million Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to June of the year 2025 stood at 1,712 mil­­lion Euro, that is 25% less compared to the first seven month of the year 2024. Accor­ding to the latest data by Eurostat, the sta­­tis­tical office of the European Uni­on, 34% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that de­livered   goods worth 586 million Euro, that was 23% less than in the first seven month of year 2024. Second (17%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 297 million Euro (-11%), fol­lowed by Italy (239 million Euro,

-25%) and France (123 million Euro, -17%).

From January to July 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 469 million Euro from Iran (-7%). Most of the Ira­nian exports to the European Union (28%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 131 million Euro from Iran (0%) followed by Italy with (86 million Euro, -27%) and Spain (64 million Euro, +28%).
