Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first six month of the year 2025 generated 1,843 million Euro (-23%). The 27 EU coun­tries ex­por­ted goods worth € 1,451 million Euro (-25%) to Iran and impor­ted goods worth 392 mil­lion Euro (-9%). Ger­­many was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 611 mil­lion Euro, followed the Ne­therlands (299 mil­li­on Euro) and Italy (276 million Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to June of the year 2025 stood at 1,451 mil­­lion Euro, that is 25% less compared to the first six month of the year 2024. Accor­ding to the latest data by Eurostat, the sta­­tis­tical office of the European Uni­on, 35% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that de­livered   goods worth 503 million Euro, that was 21% less than in the first six month of year 2024. Second (17%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 247 million Euro (-11%), fol­lowed by Italy (206 million Euro, -22%) and France (105 million Euro, -15%).

From January to June 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 392 million Euro from Iran (-9%). Most of the Ira­nian exports to the European Union (28%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 108 million Euro from Iran (-1%) followed by Italy with (70 million Euro, -32%) and Spain (52 million Euro, +18%).
