Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first six month of the year 2025 generated 1,843 million Euro (-23%). The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 1,451 million Euro (-25%) to Iran and imported goods worth 392 million Euro (-9%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 611 million Euro, followed the Netherlands (299 million Euro) and Italy (276 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to June of the year 2025 stood at 1,451 million Euro, that is 25% less compared to the first six month of the year 2024. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 35% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 503 million Euro, that was 21% less than in the first six month of year 2024. Second (17%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 247 million Euro (-11%), followed by Italy (206 million Euro, -22%) and France (105 million Euro, -15%).
From January to June 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 392 million Euro from Iran (-9%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (28%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 108 million Euro from Iran (-1%) followed by Italy with (70 million Euro, -32%) and Spain (52 million Euro, +18%).
