Iran’s non-oil trade stood at $ 43.939 billion in the first five month the year 1404 (March 20-March 20), according to the data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), that is 12% less than in the first five month of the year before.
The export volume of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports of luggage trade) in the first five month of the year 1404 valued at $20.917 billion, while the imports valued at $23.022 billion in the first five months of this year. During the mentioned period, the exports decreased by 6 percent in terms of value and the imports decrease by 16 percent, as compared to the first five month of the year 1403.
China (5,488 Million US-Dollar), Iraq (3,750 Million US-Dollar), the United Arab Emirates UAE (2,628 Million US-Dollar), Turkey (2,328 Million US-Dollar) and Afghanistan (921 Million US-Dollar) were the top five export destinations of Iranian non-oil goods in the first five month of the year 1404.
The UAE (7,146 Million US-Dollar), China (6,201 Million US-Dollar), Türkei (3.461 Million US-Dollar), India (828 Million US-Dollar) and Germany (737 Million US-Dollar and were the top five sources of import.
The transit volume reached 8.2 million tons, 15% less than in the first five month of the previous year.
