The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 1.055 million Euro (-38%) to Iran and imported goods worth 313 million Euro (-34%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 418 million Euro, followed by the Netherlands (181 million Euro) and Italy (181 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to July of the year 2026 stood at 1,055 million Euro, that is 38% less compared to the first seven month of the year 2025. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 30% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 313 million Euro, that was 46% less than in the first seven month of year 2025. Second were the Netherlands with exports worth 165 million Euro (-44%), followed by Italy (131 million Euro, -45%) and France (129 million Euro, +5%).
From January to July 2026 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 313 million Euro from Iran (-34%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (34%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 105 million Euro from Iran (-20%) followed by Italy (50 million Euro, -43%) and Spain with (49 million Euro, -25%).
