Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first four month of the year 2025 generated 695 million Euro (-47%). The 27 EU coun­tries ex­por­ted goods worth € 501 million Euro (-51%) to Iran and impor­ted goods worth 194 mil­lion Euro (-31%). Ger­­many was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 220 mil­lion Euro, followed by the Ne­therlands (86 mil­li­on Euro) and Italy (88 milli­on Euro). 

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to April of the year 2026 stood at 501 mil­­lion Euro, that is 51% less compared to the first four month of the year 2025. Accor­ding to the latest data by Eurostat, the sta­­tis­tical office of the European Uni­on, 30% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that de­livered   goods worth 152 million Euro, that was 57% less than in the first four month of year 2024. Second (15%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 73 million Euro  (-59%), fol­lowed by Italy (62 million Euro, -58%), France (48 million Euro, -38%) and Austria (38 milli­on Euro, +18%).

From January to April 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 194 million Euro from Iran (-31%). Most of the Ira­nian exports to the European Union (35%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 68 million Euro from Iran (-11%) followed by Spain with (29 million Euro, -27%) and Italy (26 million Euro, -48%).
