Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first month of the year 2024 generated 353 million Euro (-7%). The 27 EU coun­tries ex­por­ted goods worth € 292 million Euro (-6%) to Iran and impor­ted goods worth 61 million Euro (+4%). Ger­­many was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 109 million Euro, followed by the Ne­therlands (55 mil­li­on Euro) and Italy (45 million Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in January 2025 stood at 292 mil­lion Euro, that is 6% less compared to January 2024. Accor­ding to the latest data by Eurostat, the sta­­tis­tical office of the European Uni­on, 31% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that de­livered goods worth 91 million Euro, that was 10% less  than in January 2024. Second (17%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 50 million Euro (+38%) fol­lowed by Italy (38 million Euro, -13%), Romania (29 million Euro, 3%), Belgium (22 million Euro, -4%) and France (21 million Euro, +29%).

In the first month of the year 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 61 million Euro from Iran (-11%). Most of the Ira­nian exports to the European Union (29%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 18 million Euro from Iran (-10%) followed by Spain (12 million Euro, +66%) and Italy (7 million Euro, -46%).
