EU27-Iran Foreign from January till June 2021 generated 2,247 million Euro.
The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 1,840 million Euro (-3%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 407 million (+17%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 894 million Euro, followed by Italy (303 million Euro) and the Netherlands (233 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in January till June 2021 stood at 1,840 million Euro, a decrease of 3% compared to January-June 2020. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 41% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth € 754 million, that was 6% less than in the first six month of 2020. Second (12%) was Italy with exports worth € 219 million (-20%), followed by the Netherlands (€ 217 million, +17%).
January till June 2021 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 407 million from Iran (+17%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (34%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 140 million from Iran (+6%), followed by Italy (€ 84 million, +63%) and Spain (€41 million, +26%).
