The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) shows that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first nine month of the Iranian year 1400 (Mar.21- Dec. 21) has reached $72.083 billion, that is 38% more than in the first nine month of 1399.
The volume of exports of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports of luggage trade) in the first nine month valued at $35.141 billion (+40%). China ($10,204 million), Irak (6,781), Turkey ($4,131 million), the United Arab Emirates ($3,434 million),and Afghanistan ($ 1.412 million) were Iran’s five major export destinations, which accounted for 74% in total.
Iran imported goods valued at $36.942 billion (+37%) in the first nine month of the Iranian year 1400. Accordingly, the United Arab Emirates ($ 11,497 million), China ($ 8,408 million), Turkey ($ 3,697 million), Germany ($ 1.363 million) and Switzerland ($ 1.265 million) together exported $26.230 billion (71%) worth of products to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the same period.
