Iran’s non-oil trade in the first month of the year 1402
The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) shows that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first month of the year 1402 (Mar. 21 – April 21 2023) has reached 6.732 billion US-Dollar, that is 13% less than in the Iranian first month of the year 1401.
The export volume of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports of luggage trade) in the first month of the year 1402 valued at 3.645 billion US-Dollar (-13%). China ($ 1,140 million), Iraq ($ 609 million), Turkey ($ 550 million), the United Arab Emirates ($ 320 million) and India ($ 120 million) were Iran’s five major export destinations, which accounted for 75% in total.
Iran imported goods valued at 3.087 billion US-Dollar (-13%) in the year 1401. Accordingly, the United Arab Emirates ($ 1,010 million), China ($ 873 million), Turkey ($ 353 million), Germany ($ 129 million) and India ($ 110 million) together exported 80% of the goods imported by the Islamic Republic of Iran in the first month of the year 1402.
