IT department of Iran customs released the latest statistics of Foreign Trade.  Based on the re­port of the Public Relations office of Iran customs, the IT department reported that during the past 8 months of current Iranian year (started on March 21 , 2014), about 31 billion and 447 mil­­lion dollars of goods were exported and 4 billion and 254 million dollars of good were im­ported to the country.  Based on this report, during the past 8 months, non oil exports and im­ports increased as 19.72 and 20.22 percent respectively but the figures of the past 7 months stood at 19.09 and 24.72 percent for exports and imports respectively.  The main non-oil ex­ports include liquefied propane, methanol and poly ethylene film grade and the main importers were China, Iraq, UAE, Afghanistan and India respectively.

During the above mentioned period, the main imports of our country consisted of wheat with share of 3.79 percent, rice with 3 percent, internal combustion piston engine vehicles with cy­linder capacity of more than 1500cc with 2.83 percent, soy bean meal with 2.06 percent and Live­stock corn with share of 2.07 percent of total value of imports. The main exporters were China, South Korea, India and Turkey.
