The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) show­ed that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first two month of the Iranian year 1399 (Mar.20 –May 20) has reached $9.341 billion, that is 39% less than in the first two month of 1398.

The volume of exports of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports out of luggage trade) in the same period  val­­­ued at $4.300 billion (-49%).  China ($1,190 million), Iraq ($ 1,107 million), the United Arab Emi­rates ($682 mil­li­on),  Afghanistan ($ 341 million) and Tur­key ($ 144 milli­on) were Iran’s five ma­jor ex­port destinations, which account­ed for $3.464 billion (81%) in total. 

Iran imported goods valued at $5.041 billion (-27%) in the first two month of the Ira­nian year, IRICA ad­ded. Accor­dingly, China ($ 1,234 million), the Uni­ted Arab Emirates ($ 1,078 mil­lion), Turkey ($ 535 million), Russia ($ 356 million) and India ($ 335 million) ex­ported over $5.538 billion (70%)  worth of products to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the same period.
