The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) showed that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first two month of the Iranian year 1399 (Mar.20 –May 20) has reached $9.341 billion, that is 39% less than in the first two month of 1398.
The volume of exports of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports out of luggage trade) in the same period valued at $4.300 billion (-49%). China ($1,190 million), Iraq ($ 1,107 million), the United Arab Emirates ($682 million), Afghanistan ($ 341 million) and Turkey ($ 144 million) were Iran’s five major export destinations, which accounted for $3.464 billion (81%) in total.
Iran imported goods valued at $5.041 billion (-27%) in the first two month of the Iranian year, IRICA added. Accordingly, China ($ 1,234 million), the United Arab Emirates ($ 1,078 million), Turkey ($ 535 million), Russia ($ 356 million) and India ($ 335 million) exported over $5.538 billion (70%) worth of products to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the same period.
