The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) show­ed that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first month of the Iranian year 1399  (Mar.20 –April 19) has reached $3.583 billion (-27%). The volume of exports of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports out of luggage trade) in the same period val­­ued at $1.652 billion (-36%). China ($523 million), the United Arab Emi­rates ($355 mil­li­on)  Iraq ($ 259 million), Afghanistan ($ 125 million) and Tur­key ($ 72 milli­on) were Iran’s five ma­jor export destinations, which account­ed for $1.334 billion (81%) in total.

Iran imported goods valued at $1.931 billion (-17%) in the first month of the Ira­nian year, IRICA added. Accor­dingly, China ($ 399 million), the Uni­ted Arab Emirates ($ 394 mil­lion), Turkey ($ 246 million), India ($ 164 million) and the Netherlands ($ 108 million) ex­ported over $1.311 billion (68%) worth of products to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the same period.
