The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) showed that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first eight month of the Iranian year 1399 (Mar.20 –November 20) has reached $44.580 billion, that is 19% less than in the first eight month of 1398.
The volume of exports of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports of luggage trade) in the same period valued at $21.448 billion (-20%). China ($5,351 million), Iraq ($5,351? million), the United Arab Emirates ($2,725 million), Turkey ($1,618 million) and Afghanistan ($ 1,518 million) were Iran’s five major export destinations, which accounted for 77% in total.
Iran imported goods valued at $23.132 billion (-19%) in the first eight month of the Iranian year. Accordingly, China ($ 5,977 million), the United Arab Emirates ($ 5,436 million), Turkey ($ 2,606 mllion), India ($ 1,429 million) and Germany ($ 1,154 million) exported $16.602 billion (72%) worth of products to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the same period.
