Iran’s non-petroleum exports have surpassed 42.584 billion dollars in the first 10 months of the current calendar year (starting March 21, 2014), Islamic Republic Customs Administration (IRICA) reported. According to the report, 34.38 million tonnes of goods, with a total value of 43.677 billion dollars, have also been imported into the Islamic Republic over the same period. From March 21, 2014 to January 20, 2015, Iran’s non-oil exports have leapt by 24.24 percent as compared to the corresponding period last year, and the country’s imports have increased by 15.44 percent. This is the first time IRICA has provided statistical data using the Integrated Customs System.
