The newest statistics of Iran Customs shows that the volume of Iran’s trade exchanges reached 41 billion and 620 million dollars
Based on the report of Public Relations office and statistics issued by IT department, during the first 5 months of current Iranian year ( started at March 21 , 2014), 19 billion and 639 million dollars of goods have been exported and 21 billion and 981 million dollars of goods have been imported into the country. The figures indicate that non-oil exports increased by 20.83 percent and imports boosted by 33.58 percent as well. The main non-oil exports during the mentioned period include liquefied propane, liquefied methanol and butane, and the main importers of Iranian goods were China, Iraq, UAE, Afghanistan and India respectively.
The main imports of our country consisted of wheat with share of 4.97% , vehicles with internal combustion piston engine( more than 1500cc) with 3.66%, rice with 3.47% , corn with 2.63%, soy meal with 2.42% and the main exporters of goods to Iran were UAE, China, India, South Korea and Turkey respectively.
