The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) show­ed that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first six month of the Iranian year 1399 (Mar.20 –September 21) has reached $30.349 billion, that is 28% less than in the first six month of 1398.

The volume of exports of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also with­out considering exports of luggage trade) in the same period val­­­ued at $13.566 billion (-34%).  China ($3,709 mil­li­on), Iraq ($ 2,971 million), the United Arab Emi­rates ($1,933 mil­li­on),  Afgha­nistan ($ 1,103 mil­li­on) and Tur­key ($ 731 milli­on) were Iran’s five ma­jor ex­port destina­tions, which account­ed for $10,447 billion (77%) in total. 

Iran imported goods valued at $16.753 billion (-22%) in the first six month of the Ira­nian year, IRICA ad­ded. Accor­dingly, China ($ 4,295 million), the Uni­ted Arab Emirates ($ 3,961 mil­lion), Tur­key ($ 1,814 mllion), India ($ 1,097 million) and Germany ($ 835 million) ex­ported over $12.002 billion (72%)  worth of products to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the same period.
