TEHRAN - Iran conducted $71.2 billion in trade of non-oil goods with other coun­tries during the first ten months of the current calendar year which began on March 21, 2013, according to the latest report released by Iran’s Cus­toms Administration.  The country ex­ported $33.7 billion worth of non-oil goods (including gas con­densates) and imported $37.5 billion of non-oil goods during the 10-month period.  Exports fell by 2.55 percent in value, but rose by 15.33 percent in weight com­pared to the same period in the previous year.  Iron ore concentrate, urea, and Methanol were the main goods exported, and rice, soy meal, and wheat were the main items imported.  China, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates were the three top importers of Iranian goods during the pe­riod. The three countries imported $5.905 billion, $4.790 billion, and $2.923 billion worth of Iranian goods, respectively. 

Meanwhile, Iran imported products worth 37.596 37,596 million USD.  The imports declined by 21% in weight and 15% in value.  The United Arab Emirates, China, India, South-Korea and Tur­key were the leading exporters of goods to Iran. They exported $7.985 billion, $7.365 billion, $3.298 billion, $3.048 billion and $2.901 billion worth of goods to Iran.  Most important pro­ducts were rice ($1,930 billion), soya ($1.442 billion), corn (1.017 billion), wheat (1.012 billion) and automobiles, worth $917 million.
