EU27-Iran Foreign Trade in the year 2020 generated 4,463 million Euro.
The 27 EU countries (without the United Kingdom) exported goods worth € 3,750 million Euro to Iran and imported goods worth € 658 million. Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 1,814 million Euro, followed by Italy (668 million Euro) and the Netherlands (639 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the the year 2020 stood at 3.750 million Euro, a decrease of 15% compared to the year 2019. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 41% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth € 1.550 million, that was 2% more than in the year 2019. Second (15%) was Italy with exports worth € 561 million (-32%), followed by the Netherlands (€ 363 million, -25%).
In the year 2020 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 713 million from Iran (+5%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (37%) go to Germany, which imported goods worth 264 million from Iran (+37%), followed by the Netherlands (€ 114 million, +276%) and Italy (€107 million, -30%).
