EU27-Iran Foreign Trade from January till October 2020 generated 3,641 mil­li­on Euro.

The 27 EU coun­­­tries (without the United Kingdom) exported goods worth € 2,460 million Euro to Iran and imported goods worth € 496 million. Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade vol­ume of 1,450 million Euro, fol­lowed by Italy (560 million Euro) and the Ne­ther­lands (409 mil­lion Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the first ten month of the year 2020 stood at 3.036 mill­i­on Euro, a de­crea­se of 16% com­­pared to the first ten month of the year 2019. Ac­cor­ding to the la­test da­ta by Euro­stat, the sta­tis­tical of­fice of the European Union, 40% of the EU ex­­ports to Iran ca­me from Ger­­­many, that de­­­li­ve­red goods worth € 1.227 million, that was 1% mo­re than from January till October 2019. Second (16%) was Italy with ex­ports worth € 475 mil­­li­on (-30%), fol­lowed by the Ne­ther­­­lands (€ 299 million, -26%).

From January till October 2020 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 605 million from Iran (+7%).  Most of the Iranian ex­ports to the Eu­­ro­pean Union (37%) go to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 223 mil­­lion from Iran (+38%), fol­­lowed by the Netherlands  (€ 110 million, +384%)  and Italy (€85 million, -37%).
