EU-Iran Foreign Trade in the first eleven month of the year 2018 reached 17.853 bil­li­on Euro.

The 28 EU coun­tries exported goods worth € 8,504 bn to Iran and imported goods worth € 9.349 bn.  As a result, trade balance between Iran and EU stood at € 845 mln in favor of Iran. Italy was the most important EU-trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 4,514 million Euro, fol­lowed by Germany  (2,991 mn Euro), Spain (2,567 mn Euro) and France (2,401 mn Euro).

From January to November 2018 the European Union (EU28) export of goods to Iran stood at € 8,504 mn, a de­crea­se of 11% compared with the first eleven month in 2017.  According to the la­test (pre­limi­na­ry) da­ta by Euro­stat, the statistical office of the European Union, 31% of the EU-ex­ports to Iran ca­me from Ger­many, which delivered goods worth €2,602 mn, that was 1% less than in the period of previous year. Second (19%) was Italy with exports worth € 1,594 mln   (+4%), fol­lowed by France (€ 872 mn, -33%), the Netherlands (€ 696 mn, -24%) and Spain (€ 548 mn, +49%). Comparing November with October 2018 the exports of the most important coun­tries were less than in the month before:  EU (-28%), Ger (-58%),  It (-50%), Fr (-68%), NL (-60%) and Spain (-66%). 

From January to November 2018 the 28 EU countries imported goods worth € 9,345 mn from Iran, (an in­crea­se of 1% compared with the same period in 2017).  Major Iranian ex­ports to the Eu­ro­pean Union go to Italy, which imported goods worth € 2,920 mn from Iran (-3%) fol­­lowed by Spain (€ 2,019 mn, +54%), France (€ 1,529 mn, -29%), Greece (€ 1,238 mn, +3%), Austria (€ 452, +294%) and Germany (€ 389 mn, +9%).  Compared to October the exports of Iran to the EU was 64 % less in November 2018 (I -61%, SP -97%, Fr -2%, Gr +9%, Au -99%, D -33%)
