The Economist predicted that the gross domestic production (GDP) per capita will be doubled by 2016.  Based on a report by the Economist, Iran's GDP per capita reached $5,710 in 2010 and $6.660 in 2011.  The Economist predicted that the index will hit $7,590 in 2012 and $8,530 in 2013. In 2014, Iran's GDP per capita will increase by $930 standing at $9,460.  The index will hit $10,580 in 2015.  It is in 2016 that Iran's GDP per capita will become double compared to the index in 2010. The Economist predicted that the index will hit $11,880 in 2016.
