According to the Central Bank of Iran the annual inflation by September stood at 8.8 percent down by 0.1 percent compared to the annual inflation ending one month earlier. The monthly rate of inflation in Shahrivar (August-September) stood at 0.7 percent while the figure was 1.1 percent one month earlier in Mordad (July-August). The point-to-point inflation in the Iranian month of Shahrivar stood at 9.5 percent while the figure was 9.4 in the preceding Iranian month of Mordad.
