The 21st International Agricultural Trade Fair is being held on May 30 through June 2 at Tehran’s International Fairground. Fifteen countries from Asia, Europe and America will attend the fair and present their latest agricultural and food products and services, IRNA reported. Some 700 domestic and 165 foreign companies will showcase their products. Spain, Austria, Ukraine, Italy, South Africa, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Thailand, Taiwan, Turkey, China, Denmark, Russia, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Japan, France, Finland, South Korea and India will participate in Iran Agro 2014, of which Germany, Italy, Thailand, Turkey, China, France and India will have a group pavilion. Now that the sanctions imposed on the country are about to be eased, many exhibitors have returned. This shows a clear upward trend. The fair will be held in an area of 60,000 square meters in three sections: Iran Agro, Iran food+beverage technology and Iran food.
