The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) wrote in its recent World Investment Report 2017, published in June 2017, that Iran has attracted $3.372b in 2016. The report also says that foreign investment in Iran had had a descent for a few years, but in 2016, Iran enjoyed a %64 growth in foreign investment attraction. In January 2016 the sanctions on Iran were terminated.
