Iran could be an important future market for the global trade sector, president and CEO of Messe Frankfurt, Wolfgang Marzin has told EW.  “Iran is a significant market in terms of both population and potential and has a trade fair tradition that goes back many years,” said Marzin.  Once all sanctions are lifted, safety standards are established and free trade is possible, Iran could eventually develop into one of the most important future markets, he added.  “When this in turn leads to the development of normal business relationships, trade fairs can perform a valuable service for both the economy and society as a whole.”
