During the past Iranian calendar year of 1392 ( March 21 2013 – March 21 2014 ) , in total 41 bil­lion and 628 million dollars of goods (including liquid gases and excluding petroleum, gas and luggage trade) were exported form the country while 50 billion and 818 million dollars of goods were imported to the country

According to the report of Public Relations office of Iran customs and based on the statistics of IT department, export of non-oil exports improved during the last months of previous year and in total faced a growth of 0.43 percent. The imports of the country reached 50 billion and 818 million dollars showing a drop of 4.92 percent compared to the previous year.
Based on this report, during the past year, the weight of Iran’s non-oil exports reached 92 milli­on and 927 thousand tons which demonstrates a growth of 16.79 percent. The report indicates that the weight of imports stood at 33 million and 568 thousand tons which shows a drop of 14.98 percent compared to the previous year.

Exports
Main export items consisted of liquid propane with value of 1 billion and 212 million dollars and value share of 3.87 percent, bitumen with value of 1 billion and 153 million dollars and value share of 3.68 percent, methanol with value of 1 billion and 41 million dollars and value share of 3.32 percent.
China with 34 million and 502 thousand tons of goods worthy of 7 billion and 432 million dol­lars or 43 percent of weight share and 24 percent of value share, Iraq with 16 million and 919 thousand tons of goods worthy of 5 billion and 950 million dollars or with 21 percent of weight share and 19 percent of value share, UAE with 5 million and 789 thousand tons of goods wor­thy of 3 billion and 627 million dollars or with 7 percent of weight share and 12 percent of val­ue share, India with 4 million and 830 thousand tons of goods worthy of 2 billion and 418 mil­lion dollars or 6 percent of weight share and 8 percent of value share, Afghanistan with 3 mil­lion and 346 thousand tons of goods worthy of 2 billion and 417 million dollars or 4 percent of weight share and 8 percent of value share, formed the main countries which imported goods from Iran.
The average price of one ton of exported goods reached 391 dollars showing a decrease of 16 percent compared to the same period of previous year.

Imports
The report further indicates that the main imported goods during the period under conside­ra­ti­on included motor vehicles with internal combustion engine (1000-1500 cm3) with value of 2 billion and 803 million dollars and value share of 5.52 percent, rice with value of 2 billion and 300 million dollars and value share of 4.53 percent, meal and other solid waste with value of 1 billion and 827 million dollars and value share of 3.6 percent, corn for animal feeding with val­ue of one billion and 527 million dollars and value share of 3 percent, hard wheat with value of 1 billion and 273 million dollars and value share of 2.51 percent.
During the past 12 months , UAE with 6 million and 93 thousand tons of goods worthy of 11 bil­lion and 852 million dollars and 18 percent of weight share and 23 percent of value share, Chi­na with 4 million and 513 thousand tons of goods worthy of 9 billion and 664 million dollars and 13 percent of weight share and 19 percent of value share, India with 3 million and 689 thou­sand tons of goods worthy of 4 billion and 310 million dollars and 11 percent of weight share and 8 percent of value share, Republic of Korea with one million and 686 thousand tons of goods worthy of 3 billion and 855 million dollars and 5 percent of weight share and 7.59 percent of value share and Turkey with 2 million and 717 thousand tons of goods worthy of 3 billion and 647 million dollars and 8 percent of weight share and 7 percent of value share should be mentioned as the main sources of imported goods.
More over the average price of one ton of imported goods was 1514 dollars which increased as 12 percent compared to the same period of previous year.
