Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first nine month of the year 2025 generated 2,817 million Euro (-22%). The 27 EU coun­tries ex­por­ted goods worth € 2,222 million Euro (-19%) to Iran and impor­ted goods worth 595 mil­lion Euro (-8%). Ger­­many was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 904 mil­lion Euro, followed by the Ne­therlands (447 mil­li­on Euro) and Italy (410 million Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to September of the year 2025 stood at 2,222 mil­­lion Euro, that is 22% less compared to the first nine month of the year 2024. Accor­ding to the latest data by Eurostat, the sta­­tis­tical office of the European Uni­on, 33% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that de­livered   goods worth 735 million Euro, that was 25% less than in the first nine month of year 2024. Second (18%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 399 million Euro (-8%), fol­lowed by Italy (306 million Euro, -17%), France (170 million Euro, -13%) and Belgium (146 million Euro, -39%).

From January to September 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 595 million Euro from Iran (-8%). Most of the Ira­nian exports to the European Union (28%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 169 million Euro from Iran (+6%) followed by Italy with (104 million Euro, -31%) and Spain (77 million Euro, +34%).
