Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first three month of the year 2025 generated 1038 million Euro (-19%). The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 827 million Euro (-22%) to Iran and imported goods worth 211 million Euro (-3%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 338 million Euro, followed the Netherlands (153 million Euro) and Italy (147 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to March of the year 2025 stood at 827 million Euro, that is 22% less compared to the first quarter of the year 2024. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 34% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 279 million Euro, that was 19% less than in the first three month of year 2024. Second (17%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 141 million Euro (+2%) followed by Italy (106 million Euro, -18%), France (63 million Euro, -15%) and Belgium (62 million Euro, -27%).
From January to March 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 211 million Euro from Iran (-3%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (28%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 59 million Euro from Iran (+1%) followed by Italy with (41 million Euro, -31%) and Spain (33 million Euro, +47%).
