Iran’s non-oil trade stood at $94.029 billion during the first nine month of the year 1403 (March 20-March 20), according to the data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), that is 11% more than in the first nine month of the year before.
The export volume of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports of luggage trade) in the first nine month of the year 1403 valued at $43.140 billion, while the imports valued at $50.889 billion in the nine months of this year. During the mentioned period, the exports improved by 18 percent in terms of value and the imports improved by 5 percent, as compared to the first nine month of the year 1402.
China (10,984 Million US-Dollar), Iraq (9,414 Million US-Dollar), the United Arab Emirates UAE (5,276 Million US-Dollar), Turkey (5,203 Million US-Dollar) and Afghanistan (1,748 Million US-Dollar) were the top five export destinations of Iranian non-oil goods in the first nine month of the year 1403.
The UAE (15,318 Million US-Dollar), China (13,029 Million US-Dollar), Turkey (8,919 Million US-Dollar), Germany (1,751 million US-Dollar and India (1,112 Million US-Dollar) were the top five sources of import.
The transit volume reached 16,537 million tons, 31% more than in the same period of the previous year.
