Iran’s non-oil trade stood at $83.279 billion during the first eight month of the year 1403 (March 20-March 20), according to the data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), that is 11% more than in the first eight month of the year before.
The export volume of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports of luggage trade) in the first eight month of the year 1403 valued at $38.152 billion, while the imports valued at $45.127 billion in the eight month of this year. During the mentioned period, the exports improved by 18 percent in terms of value and the imports improved by 6 percent, as compared to the first eight month of the year 1402.
China (9,899 Million US-Dollar), Iraq (8,303 Million US-Dollar), the United Arab Emirates UAE (4,755 Million US-Dollar), Turkey (4,415 Million US-Dollar) and Afghanistan (1,559 Million US-Dollar) were the top five export destinations of Iranian non-oil goods in the first eight month of the year 1403.
The UAE (13,615 Million US-Dollar), China (11,539 Million US-Dollar), Turkey (7,850 Million US-Dollar), Germany (1,569 million US-Dollar and Russia (1,054 Million US-Dollar) were the top five sources of import.
The transit volume reached 14,746 million tons, 35% more than in the same period of the previous year.
