Eurostat: EU27: Iran foreign trade from January to July 2023 generated 2,570 million Euro. The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 2,207 million Euro (-6%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 481 million (-24%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 809 million Euro, followed by Italy (435 million Euro) and the Netherlands (330 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to July 2023 stood at 2.207 million Euro, a decrease of 6% compared to the first seven month of the year 2022. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 30% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 663 million Euro, that was 25% less than in January-July 2022. Second (15%) was Italy with exports worth 341 million Euro (+22%) followed by the Netherlands (304 million Euro, +49%), Belgium (187 million Euro, +51%) and France (163 million Euro, -17%).
In the first seven month of the year 2023 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 481 million Euro from Iran (-25%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (30%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 146 million Euro from Iran (-16%), followed by Italy (94 million Euro, -8%) and Spain (51 million Euro, -34%)
