Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the year 2022 generated 5,239 million Euro. The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 4,183 million Euro (+6%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 1,056 million (+15%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 1,862 million Euro, followed by Italy (713 million Euro) and the Netherlands (446 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the year 2022 stood at 4,183 million Euro, an increase of 6% compared to the year 2021. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 38% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 1,583 million Euro, that was 10% more than in the year 2021. Second (13%) was Italy with exports worth 552 million Euro (+23%), followed by the Netherlands (390 million Euro, -12%) and France (313 million Euro, +40%).
In the year 2022 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 1,056 million Euro from Iran (+15%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (26%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 279 million Euro from Iran (+2%), followed by Italy (161 million Euro, -10%) and Spain (148 million Euro, +52%).
