Eurostat:   EU27-Iran foreign trade from January till August 2022 generated 3,441  mil­­li­on Euro.

The 27 EU coun­­­tries exported goods worth € 2,709 million Euro (+11%) to Iran and im­por­­­ted goods worth € 732 million (+30%). Germany was the most important EU trade part­­ner of Iran, with a trade vol­ume of 1,216 million Euro, fol­lowed by Italy (431 million Euro) and the Netherlands (280 mil­lion Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the first eight month of the year 2022 stood at 2,709 mill­i­­on Euro, an in­crea­se of 11% com­­pared to January-August 2021. Ac­­cor­­­ding to the la­test da­ta by Euro­stat, the sta­tis­tical of­fice of the European Union, 38% of the EU ex­­ports to Iran ca­me from Ger­­­many that de­­­li­ve­red goods worth 1,024 mil­­lion Euro, that was 9% more than in the first eight month of the year 2021. Second (12%)  was Italy with ex­ports worth 319 mil­­li­on Euro (+13%), fol­lowed by the Nether­lands (237 mil­lion Euro, -19%) and France (225 million Euro, +59%)

From January till August 2022 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 732 mil­li­on Euro from Iran (+30%).  Most of the Iranian ex­ports to the Eu­­ro­pean Union (26%) went to Ger­­­many, which im­ported goods worth 192 mil­­lion Euro from Iran (+5%), fol­­lowed by Italy (112 mi­l­li­on Euro, -2%), Spain (98 million Euro, +82%), Romania (67 million Euro, +65%) and Bul­ga­ria (62 million Euro, +91%).
