The last statistic of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) shows that Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first five month of the year 1401 (Mar. 21 – August 22 2022) has reached $42.589 billion, that is 20% more than in the first five month of the Iranian year 1400.
The export volume of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports of luggage trade) in the first five month of the year 1401 valued at $20.924 billion (+21%). China ($6,723 million), Iraq ($2,961 million), the United Arab Emirates ($2,781 million), Turkey ($2,328 million) and India ($729 million) were Iran’s five major export destinations, which accounted for 74% in total.
Iran imported goods valued at $21.665 billion (+20%) in the first five month of the year 1401. Accordingly, the United Arab Emirates ($ 6,074 million), China ($ 5,518 million), Turkey ($ 2,166 million), India ($ 1,159 million) and Russia ($ 715 million) together exported goods worth $15.632 billion (72%) to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the same period.
