Eurostat:   EU27-Iran Foreign trade from January till March 2022 generated 1,221 mil­li­on Euro.

The 27 EU coun­­­tries exported goods worth € 1,053 million Euro (+18%) to Iran and im­por­­­ted goods worth € 168 million (+38%). Germany was the most important EU trade part­­ner of Iran, with a trade vol­ume of 505 million Euro, fol­lowed by Italy (155 million Euro) and the Netherlands (109 mil­lion Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the first quarter of the year 2022 stood at 1,053 mill­i­­on Euro, an in­crea­se of 18% com­­pared to January-March 2021. Ac­cor­­­ding to the la­test da­ta by Euro­stat, the sta­tis­tical of­fice of the European Union, 39% of the EU ex­­ports to Iran ca­me from Ger­­­many that de­­­li­ve­red goods worth € 416 million, that was 14% more than in the first quarter of the year 2021. Second (11%) was Italy with ex­ports worth € 113 mil­­li­on (+11%), fol­lowed by the Netherlands (€ 91 million,  -26%), Romania (€ 73 million, +83%) and Spain (€ 63 million, +14%).

From January till March 2022 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 275 mil­li­on from Iran (+39%).  Most of the Iranian ex­ports to the Eu­­ro­pean Union (32%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 89 mil­­lion from Iran (+23%), fol­­lowed by Italy (€ 42 mi­l­li­on, -10%) and Spain (35 million, +82%).
