The last statistic of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) shows that Iran’s foreign trade volume in Farvardin 1401 (Mar. 21 - Apr. 20 2022) has reached $6.523 billion, that is 13% more than in the first month of the Iranian year 1400.
The export volume of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without considering exports of luggage trade) in the first month of the year 1401 valued at $3.699 billion (+25%). China ($1,291 million), the United Arab Emirates ($668 million) Iraq ($426 million), Turkey ($361 million), and Afghanistan ($108 million) were Iran’s five major export destinations, which accounted for 77% in total.
Iran imported goods valued at $2.824 billion (-1%) in Farvardin 1401. Accordingly, the United Arab Emirates ($ 778 million), China ($ 676 million), Turkey ($ 272 million), Indien ($141) million and Germany ($ 130 million) together exported goods worth $1.997 billion (71%) to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the same period.
