Eurostat:   EU27-Iran Foreign trade in January 2022 generated 357 mil­li­on Euro.

The 27 EU coun­­­tries exported goods worth € 287 million Euro (+26%) to Iran and im­por­­­ted goods worth € 70 million (+49%). Germany was the most important EU trade part­­ner of Iran, with a trade vol­ume of 131 million Euro, fol­lowed by Austria (42 million Euro) and the Ne­ther­lands (37 mil­lion Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in January 2022 stood at 287 mill­i­­on Euro, an in­crea­se of 26% com­­pared to January 2021. Ac­cor­ding to the la­test da­ta by Euro­stat, the sta­tis­tical of­fice of the European Union, 38% of the EU ex­­ports to Iran ca­me from Ger­­­many that de­­­li­ve­red goods worth € 108 million, that was 13% more than in January 2021. Second (14%) was Austria with ex­ports worth € 41 mil­­li­on  (660%), fol­lowed by the Netherlands (€ 32 million, +11%) and Italy (€ 25 million, -21%).

In January 2022 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 70 mil­li­on from Iran (+49%).  Most of the Iranian ex­ports to the Eu­­ro­pean Union (34%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 23 mil­­lion from Iran (+33%), fol­­lowed by Italy (€ 14 mi­l­li­on, +81%), Bulgaria (€ 6 million, +259%), the Netherlands (€ 5 million, +161%) and Romania (€ 5 million, +125%).
