The Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) announced that the inflation rate in the twelve-month period ended on January 20, which marks the end of the tenth Iranian calendar month of dey stood at 42.4 percent, less 1.0 percentage points from the figure for the twelve-month period ended on the last day of the ninth month.
The Point-to-Point inflation in the Iranian month to January 20, indicated a 35.9% rise compared with the similar month of the previous Iranian year; that was 0.7 percentage point more than the figure for the previous month.
