Eurostat: EU27-Iran Foreign from January till September 2021 generated 3,355 million Euro.
The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 2.722 million Euro (-1%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 633 million (+8%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 1,238 million Euro, followed by Italy (446 million Euro) and the Netherlands (356 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in January till September 2021 stood at 2,722 million Euro, a decrease of 1% compared to January till September 2020. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 38% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth € 1,034 million, that was 6% less than in the first nine month of 2020. Second (12%) were the Netherlands with exports worth € 332 million (+22%), followed by Italy (€ 317 million, -25%).
From January till September 2021 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 633 million from Iran (+14%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (32%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 204 million from Iran (0%), followed by Italy (€ 129 million, +67%) and Spain (€59 million, +39%).
