Eurostat: EU27-Iran Foreign from January till August 2021 generated 2,973 million Euro.
The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 2.409 million Euro (-2%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 476 million (+8%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 1,107 million Euro, followed by Italy (397 million Euro) and the Netherlands (308 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in January till August 2021 stood at 2,409 million Euro, a decrease of 2% compared to January-August 2020. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 38% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth € 924 million, that was 8% less than in the first eight month of 2020. Second (12%) were the Netherlands with exports worth € 286 million (22%), followed by Italy (€ 282 million, -26%).
January till August 2021 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 564 million from Iran (+17%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (32%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 183 million from Iran (0%), followed by Italy (€ 115 million, +67%) and Spain (€54 million, +36%).
