The average goods and services urban Consumer Price Index in the 12-month period ending No­vem­­ber  21, which marks the end of the Iranian month of Aban, increased by 18,4% com­pared with last year’s corres­ponding period, the Central Bank of Iran reported.  CBI had put the infla­ti­on rate for the preceding month of Mehr, which ended on October 22, at 15.9%. The over­all CPI (using the Irani­an year to March 2017 as the base year) stood at 153.6 in the Iranian month of  Aban, indica­ting a 3.5% rise compared with the previous month. The index registered a year-on-year increa­se of 39,4% compared with the similar month of last year.  The Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) re­ported an inflation rate of 15.6% for the year ending November  21.
