Financial Tribune: To help break the coronavirus transmission chain, the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare will automatically extend the work permits of foreign nationals in Iran. According to Mohsen Ebrahimi, an official with the ministry, work permits of foreign nationals, which are set to expire in the first Iranian month (March 20-April 19), will get an automatic extension for two months. “There’s no need for the physical presence of applicants at Iranian provinces’ Directorate General for Employment of Expatriates,” IRNA quoted Ebrahimi as saying.
