As Tehran International Fairground prepares to host the 15th Tehran International Industry Ex­hibition October 5-8, more than 450 Iranian and 200 foreign firms have so far signed up to take part. Thus far, the exhibition has recorded an increase of 25% in domestic and 30% in foreign par­ticipation compared to last year’s exhibition; IRNA reported citing Tehran International Fair­ground Company.  Companies from Italy, France, Austria, Turkey, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, In­dia, the UK, Sweden, Romania, Australia, Germany, Spain, Russia, China, the United Arab Emi­rates, Poland and the Netherlands will showcase their latest products, services and techno­lo­gies related to industrial and manufacturing equipment, production lines of small and big Indus­tries, manufacturing tools, advanced industries, industrial automation, technical, engineering and consultation services, investment and sales.  The exhibition is also expected to play host to global business delegations including a 200-member team from Germany’s manufacturers and industrialists and trade delegations from Turkey, Taiwan and Russia.

Three conferences held by the government, industrialists, academia and researchers plus edu­ca­ti­onal workshops are scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the expo.
