The latest census result shows that 8.5 million people live in the capital city and more than three million in the cities of the province of Tehran, the Deputy Governor of Tehran announced Sunday. Nematollah Torki stated that data on 2.830.000 households have been collected in Tehran and 200,000 could not be reached adding the average number of persons in each household in the Tehran province was three./-
